Trail Rides

Join Us at Turtlehead Trails

Come join us on a guided horseback ride to explore the wonders of this beautiful island setting. Our trail rides follow secluded roads and trails through forests, around lakes and marshes, to the water’s edge where seal and porpoise can be seen, to mossy knolls with spectacular views of the surrounding Gulf Islands and coastal mountains.

We Offer

For Trail Rides, please note

• No experience necessary

• All levels welcome

• Age limit: 8 years and up (8 year olds must be accompanied by an adult)

• Weight limit: 230 pounds

• Participants must be in good general health

• What to wear: Long pants and closed-toed shoes; Helmets are available and required

• All participants must sign a waiver form

Reservations and Rates

To make a reservation call 360-376-3649 or e-mail info@turtleheadfarm.com. We appreciate reservations made at least 24 hours in advance during our peak summer season. Trail rides are $60 per person per hour.

Peak season: June 15 to September 15; operating 7 days per week, from 9 am-5 pm

Off-peak season: open on a limited basis; advance reservations necessary

Spring: April to June 15; Fall: September 15 to October 3; limited days and hours; call well in advance

We are closed: November to March due to inclement weather and slippery trails!
