With direct access to miles of trails, Turtlehead Farm is a welcoming place for riders to explore and connect with their horses in a peaceful, natural setting.
Horse boarding
Turtlehead Farm is home to a small herd of retired trail horses, 8–10 boarded horses, 4 donkeys, and a small herd of goats. Horses have always been an integral part of life here.
-
We are a small and friendly boarding facility where horses are happy and never stalled. Boarded horses can live in a herd or in private, roomy paddocks with opportunities to socialize over the fence. Adjoining paddocks with shared gates allow compatible horses to spend time together safely.
Board Includes:
Large barn with heated tack room, hay loft, and loafing shed
Private paddocks with custom wood shelters
Small arena for training and warm-up exercises
Access to six large fields for rotational grazing
Premium Eastern Washington hay fed twice daily
Daily supplement feeding
Optional daily manure pick-up
Although the farm no longer offers public trail rides or horsemanship programs, horses remain central to the property, and guests are welcome to spend time with them and participate in their care.
